Our Team
With more than 20 years of combined experience in the paralegal, insurance and healthcare industries, Tim Prashad provides advice and counsel to accident victims, healthcare providers and others in the legal profession.
Before establishing his paralegal practice, Tim's career focused on the insurance industry's two sides: the policyholder (consumer) and the policy issuer (company).
While working on the policyholder side of the industry, Tim worked as an insurance broker, where he helped clients navigate various insurance policy options to receive maximum coverage and benefits. Tim later acted as a representative of the insurance industry, negotiating with policyholders on behalf of the insurance company, Crawford & Company. Having experienced the insurance industry from one end of the spectrum to the other, Tim gained valuable experience, professional insights and in-depth industry knowledge.
Following his time in the insurance industry, Tim became a registered paralegal in the Province of Ontario, with experience in motor vehicle accidents, small claims court, landlord-tenant disputes and disability insurance denials. Tim worked with various Southern Ontario law firms, financial groups and insurance companies as their litigation paralegal expert. Tim's entrepreneurial experience and culminated drive enabled Tim to establish Prashad Consulting Legal Services Professional Corporation.
Tim is a graduate of Brock University in St. Catherines, Ontario, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with Special Interest in Psychology. Tim is also a registered paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario.
Jennifer has been working for accident victims for over 16 years. Her practice has always focused on helping victims of injuries, whether it be motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries or those injured through the negligence of others.
Jennifer has worked throughout southern Ontario in litigation law firms as well as paralegal firms, honing her advocacy skills. She has appeared before many Tribunals representing clients, including the Social Security Tribunal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the License Appeals Tribunal.
Jennifer became licensed as a Paralegal in 2008 and is very passionate about the paralegal profession. She provides tutoring for the Law Society of Ontario Paralegal Licensing Examination, as well as teaches the Paralegal program.
